Effect of Plant Buffer Zone–Antifouling Curtain Wall on Reducing Non-Point Source Pollution in Paddy Fields, China

In view of the nitrogen and phosphorus non-point source pollution caused by paddy field drainage in southern China, two fields Nanjing Yuyao cities were selected to study effect plant buffer zone–antifouling curtain walls on reducing pollution. The results showed that designed wall systems could significantly reduce concentration total (TN) (TP) fields. Compared with Nanjing, interception rate TN zone antifouling 33.0% 59.3%, respectively; removal rates TP about 18.4% 40.3%, respectively. addition, contents ammoniacal (NH3-N), nitrate (NO3-N) Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) also reduced. For experimental area, compared without soil (the control), each indicator discharge water system operation mode was reduced, rejection TP, TN, dissolved (TDP), NO3-N NH3-N 64.28%, 70.66%, 83.73%, 65.22% 80.69%, summary, construction a (soil zone) has an obvious reduction fields, which improve yield fertilizer utilization. be popularized applied local areas China.
